I was even trying to decide if New York was too far to go (it is, given my budget) from where I am in Michigan. I doubt I could afford him, either. Why aren't there clinics and doctors who use the " Bernstein Method " or something like that? On a positive note as far as my dislike of exercise goes, I've discovered that there IS a senior center here in Saline and they have exercise programs. I'll have to give them a call and see just what it is they offer. A search for diabetes groups/clubs in the area has resulted only in names of the local hospitals and their diabetes education programs. Maybe diabetes clubs don't exist. sky Type 2 dx'd 9/04. Guest guest
Why not start one? You could do it one of several ways. First, you could start an e-group. I was part of a social group here in Austin that I found on Yahoo Groups Or, you could put an entry in your paper's local " What's Happening " type listings, or a classified ad, or even a note at the senior center!
