Janie,

I am the Cindi who posted the thyroid info on that site. I did tons of

research. If you read it today, you'll see that the who tried the

Armour

thinks her BDD is cured.

I am a pill gulper! I have three large, four small and a half tab I take in the

AM.. All at once! Since I switched to the more pills/smaller Armour I have to

have a drink with it, but when I could get the 3 grain Armour... I took it dry

and had no problems swallowing it. I sometimes choke with liquids though and

this seems directly related to the amount of thyroid I am taking/not taking..

meaning when I was taking less I was prone to choking alot more. Come to think

of it, since I have been on this latest increase, I haven't had even ONE choking

on my saliva incident... COOL!

Janie,

What is the site you found concerning this? I'd be interested in looking at it.

I am always amazed what Armour changes in our lives. I found a site

where a gal is using Armour to help her with Body Dysmorphic

Disorder (it's a preoccupation with an imagined defect in appearance

and can be severe).

An interesting aspect of the above site is that a doc (at least they

presume it to be a doc) got on and was apparently highly critical of

the self-dosing and exchange of ideas between the participants about

Armour. The exchange of idea was NO different that what we have

here! It was good. I think that certain medical professionals can

be very threatened or uneasy with the knowledge that we have in the

field of thyroid.
