To All,

My daughter Keely will be graduating from high school this Saturday.

She has been accepted at Case Western University in Cleveland for

next Fall, with $28,000 per year in grants and a scholarship (total

per year for this school is $33,000 per year). I'm not sending this

posting to brag, although we are very proud of her, but PLS DOES

count as an advantage when applying to colleges. On ALL college

applications there is a space for " Special Circumstances " , and

apparently a parent with PLS is taken seriously.

I " retired " about 2 years ago on SSDI and Long Term Disability, so I

was able to spend a lot of time becoming familiar with college

addmissions, financial aid, NCAA athletic rules, etc. I have also

become somewhat of an " expert " on PLS as it applies to SSDI and Long

Term Disability Insurance. If I can be of help to anyone, please

contact me privately at my e-mail address or give me a call 513-677-

3282. I will be glad to share what I have learned with anyone on

our " List " .

B.
