New Pain

dang it.

I've had Vestibuladynia since spring. I also been diagnosed with

LS, but I've never actually had the " bad " symptoms of itching, skin

cuts, etc. My LS symptoms are white spots and fusing of the inner

labia and clitoris hood.

My new symptoms are that I my outer labia are extremely tender -

there is pigmentation there -but it has been there for a long time

(I actually have a copy of my GYN records back to 2000 and it was

noted way back then - years before I had any discomfort) It feels

like the pubic hair is being pulled and it feels like that whether I

am sitting, standing, walking lying down (pretty much all the time)

When I touch it the pain does not increase at all, in fact no pain

at touch (weird). I also have periodic discomfort in the vulva just

above the clitoral hood. Not inside the hood but " north " of the

hood -the very top part of the vulva just where the hairline ends.

It feels like pubic hair is " poking " me. There is no color there at

all just healthy looking skin. Huband just looked at me with a

flashlight and magnifying glass to make sure there were no white

spots or tearing (like LS) and he said all looked perfectly fine.

I think I may have had this tenderness before, but it is very

significant right now. I am a day or two before my expected period

and usually have worse symptoms at this time but this is pretty new.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas, suggestions. I took a

Clariton thinking that may help. Also did the ice packs at night.
