I don't know where hydrocortisone comes from. Good question. Just know its a natural formula as opposed to the synthetic. It's pretty evenly divided on whether someone prefer the natural (which I think has a brand name of Cortef) or Delta...Delta is easier on the dosing...just once in the morning.
