Guest guest
I haven't tried this yet but thought it looked pretty interesting. Zucchini season will be here before you know it! Zucchini Crust (5 pts for entire crust) 3 c Zucchini, shredded (Make sure you squeeze all the water out of the zucchini) 3/4 c egg substitute 1/3 c flour Mix zucchini with the egg substitute and flour. Spread on a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam and bake at 400 or 425 degrees till set but not totally done. Use as pizza crust or dip in salsa. Guest guest
I like zucchini so I'm hoping it will be good used for pizza. I may try to make it this week and let you know. Oh, BTW, I tried the Chick Pea Dip (hummus) this weekend and it was pretty good. It was a little bland initially so I spice it up with a little extra garlic and some crushed pepper flakes. Yummy! Also, the store where I shop didn't have any whole wheat pitas so I used whole wheat tortillas to make the garlic chips. Really yummy! had our neighbor (4 years old, too) over to play and they both liked it as well! This is a definite keeper considering the pre-made hummus in the store is $2.99 for a 1 cup container. |--------+--------------------------> | | " Zephyrmon " | | | <zephyrmon@cable| | | speed.com> | | | | | | 04/08/2002 10:39| | | AM | | | Please respond | | | to wwliterside | | | | |--------+--------------------------> >-----------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: wwliterside | | cc: (bcc: -C /BRE/AGFA/US/BAYER) | | Subject: Re: Zucchini Crust | >-----------------------------------------------------------| Thanks , this is a great idea. let me know if you try it.
