I am behind in emails so not sure if Janie updated you a second time or not. But she called me yesterday and asked me to let you know couple things if she was unable to update second time for awhile.

I see she told you about Panic Attack......she sure was scared and know we each need to make sure we give her some comfort as she has been through these surgeries so much that you do not get use to them you actually get to point of fear. They ended up having to go down her leg almost to ankle even though it was the arthroscope(is that spelled right any nurse?) anyway the worse thing is they found Spurs all on her bone. So not only did she have surgery on knee again she had to have bone spurs taken off. She cannot put any weight on her leg and is in alot of pain of course.

Just made me feel so very sorry for her. Oh she was in such pain. Know she wanted you all to know as as a family we all care for one another. I was so pleased to be able to speak to her but sad about the spurs. Since not sure if she will be able to be on here today or for long period of time could someone please tell me just what it means for them to find spurs on her leg? Know what they look like and that it is the Arthritis that has caused them but do they keep comming back?

Janie we are praying for you and being my usual and not awake well could be forgetting something you told me. She went to surgery at 8am and did not get out until 10am so long surgery for her. She goes back to her doctor this Friday. Well that is all I know and know each of you wanted to know. Janie again we love you and pray that you are able to have some pain relief.

Will be calling her sometime today to check on her and let her know you are thinking of her. You take care of yourself also.

Re: About Janie and her surgery

JoAnn,

Thank you for the update. If you talk to her again please tell her that I am thinking of her and I totally feel her pain. I don't know exactly what spurs are, I guess if nobody knows she will tell us when she is feeling a bit better. But I've had like 20 knee surgeries, both open knee and arthroscopic and I know how painful they are, and how awful it is not to be able to put weight on it. My last surgery that caused the RSD I couldn't put weight on it for like 5 months, and I couldn't walk on the other one because it was still recovering from the reconstructive surgery the year before. So I was bed ridden (and still am...lol), and I know just how horrible the pain is. So please tell her I am thinking of her so much and praying for a quick and safe recovery.
