Guest guest
hi linda and fellow thyroid readers, i know i'm a mess and i'm just grateful to be here. so, what i'm taking: 2 grains of armour (though the doc wants to decrease it to 1.5 as i was having heart palpitations 150 mg wellbutrin - the theraputic dose is 300 mg but i have never been able to handle that much, talk about insomnia 2 drops dhea 2xs a day but it's usually just in the morning 1/4 tsp progesterone cream, 2xs day 2 tabs of isocort 2xs a day thyrolar (1 - 2 tabs a day it's a vitamin supplement to support the thyroid it has bladderwack and other herbs and vitamins) l-theanine and gaba blend for relaxation that is all for now. would you make any changes? do you agree that the heart pals could be from too much armour or could that be the wellburtin? i'm wondering if the wellbutrin is to blame for a lot of this.i started taking it a week before i was diagnosed with hypo thyroid. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. peg > Subject: Re: isocort dosage > > Hi, Peg, > Why would we throw you off the board? I don't remember if you just added all of this stuff....but when you start too much new it's hard to know what is causing what symptom. If this were me....I'd be dropping everything but the Armour...and letting it do it's work for a while. Because I think some of this other stuff may be causing some chaos in your body. If I added anything to the Armour...it would be Delta or Cortef. Then add a multiple vitamin. And then just stick with that. I think the Wellbutrin probably has some withdrawal effects - so I'm not sure about whether I would stop that cold turkey. This is just my opinion....but when I read this...I thought " too much interaction going on " . Cindi

I stopped cold turkey after 1 full year on it.
Guest guest
Hi, Peg, I would think the heart palps are more from Armour than from Wellbutrin. If you're having depression, you need something for that. Have you been on Wellbutrin long enough to help the depression? You might just need to ttake the Armour increases slower. in Va. hi linda and fellow thyroid readers, i know i'm a mess and i'm just grateful to be here. so, what i'm taking: 2 grains of armour (though the doc wants to decrease it to 1.5 as i was having heart palpitations 150 mg wellbutrin - the theraputic dose is 300 mg but i have never been able to handle that much, talk about insomnia 2 drops dhea 2xs a day but it's usually just in the morning 1/4 tsp progesterone cream, 2xs day 2 tabs of isocort 2xs a day thyrolar (1 - 2 tabs a day it's a vitamin supplement to support the thyroid it has bladderwack and other herbs and vitamins) l-theanine and gaba blend for relaxation that is all for now. would you make any changes? do you agree that the heart pals could be from too much armour or could that be the wellburtin? i'm wondering if the wellbutrin is to blame for a lot of this.i started taking it a week before i was diagnosed with hypo thyroid. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. peg
