Guest guest
HI on the age of lantus, i get mine in boxes of 5 one box at a time and store the box in the fridge ensuring that expiry date on box is well in advance of reception.I remove 1 syringe at a time and this is stored at room temperature and only lasts me 6 days maximum. i feel this should be a satisfactory storage method and do away with the need to dump any insulin.these are only my own personal observations although they are based on package information sandypaws3 wrote: I was just reading through all the archived messages on Lantus, as I started taking it yesterday. The nurse, who was showing me how to inject it, told me no matter what, to pitch it in 28 days. Jo, that's a good idea to write the date of expiration on the box. Sandy H.
