Guest guest
Hi! I just started and haven't actually read the books. I'm a nurse and I have a lot of friends do the diet successfully, so I have a good idea of what's going on. However, I don't know exactly how much water to drink per day. How much is enough? Guest guest
As much as you can stand :-) Actually, you need to have AT LEAST (8) 8oz glasses + an additional 8oz for every 25 lbs you need to lose. Swim in it, LOL Chris

Guest guest
Steph you might have a hard time putting your body in ketosis and yes even with my antiabotic i was small and trace this heat wave thru me all the way out. I test ketosis 2 times a day. Sue --- GutsyAngeI@... wrote: > From: GutsyAngeI@... > > Is anyone else experiencing a lull in weight loss > possibly attributable to > the heat wave? Guest guest
I have the same problem, but I like drinking sparkling water with a lemon or lime. Or just sparkling water w/added lime flavor (No sodium) And of course no sugar added! Also, I have been buying a case of bottled water, and I just drink out of the 16 oz bottles all day. That way I know exactly how much I drink. Stick a little peice of lime in...yum yum! Hope that help.
Guest guest
Sue or anyone who can help....I am having a really hard time taking in enough water. I read that it needed to be 64 oz of water and that caffiene free diet drinks or other beverages couldn't count toward that....I might be able to train myself to take in more fluids in the form of tea, etc but I can't stand that much of the plain water. Any suggestions? <<<If you are in the dark purple this is the larg amt of ketosis you can be damaging your kidney by not haveing enough fluids it dont have to be water it has to be fluids >>>>> ________________________________________________________________ Get FREE voicemail, fax and email at http://voicemail.excite.com Talk online at http://voicechat.excite.com
Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions Mollie. I will try the straw and see if it helps. Is there any certain reason you only use a little of the tea? Can it not be used full strength? Guest guest
Morning Sheila! I wrote to the group a few weeks back about this same issue. I tried sparkling water ( which was good but loaded with sweetners). I tried Crystal Lite which was ughhhhh. I marked a gallon jug and kept it in the fridge and only manage to drink half of it on a good day. I have to force myself to drink as much as I do. I can't think of any other alternatives for H2O. We're both stuck! ;D Sheila from PA Re: water > From: ladyh@... > > Sue or anyone who can help....I am having a really hard time taking in > enough water. Guest guest
> it not be used full strength? Sheila in TX- You're suppose to drink pure water... this is what the body needs. Tea in full strength doesnt count towards your daily water intake so I just add a touch and it doesnt really hurt, the water is basically still pure, but with a little flavor.... by the way- it's noon here and I'm on glass number 6 already!!!!!!! I'm floatin!!! ha ha mol
Guest guest
Mollie: I think your story is one of the reasons I fudge (oh, I love that word!) on water. Being a veteran dieter water was always naturally being forced. That meant interrupted sleep and not being able to go any distance without calculated stops. I do a massive amount of travel and the turnpike does not take into consideration all of us water drinkers! :> Sheila from PA Re: Re: water > > > Sheila-- better be sure theres also a little girls room nearby... that's > the draw back of drinking so much water!!!! > > Have to tell you something kinda funny-- For the past few weeks I've > been real tired, havent been getting much sleep.
