My dad was evaluated today for long term care. the long term care agency deamed

him not at risk and stable. the doctor says that's only becuase he's monitored.

He'll be unstable once he steps foot outside the nursing home.

Type 1 is of rather sudden onset; type 2 is slow, gradual onset.

(Another difference between type 1 and 2).
