Tonia tonia i left northwest indiana and lake effect snows, long underwear under my scrubs from sept. till may and that nasty little 4 litter word SNOW. when the opportunity happened i had a 18ft. u-hall truck, my car on a trailer, myself and my 9 yr old daughter and we moved to ft. myers in july. no family, a great job, great pay and warm weather. i have never regretted the move. in fact i meet the man of my dreams down here and we have been married 10 years last august. i've had rsd since 8/99. but he still is the best hubby there is. and as far as iowa, have lots of relatives around waverly, shell rock, waterloo area. nice to visit in summer, but that is it. there still is a family farm outside of shell rock somewhere. kathy t -------Original Message------- plus the weather is a tad bit warmer than it is up where you guys are now. a cold front is coming thru on tues with the high in the low 60's my toes say burr. ========================================================================= Ok, you are complaining about the weather being in the high 60's???? I'll trade you living places ANY DAY!!! Our highs have been low 30's - high 20's for the last MONTH! If our lows was actually in the 60's....I'd be wearing shorts constantly! you would never ever see me in sweat pants, jeans or capri's ever again, only shorts!!! lol And, I definately would forget what long sleeve shirts were, snow, ice....anything that winter brings!!! I would actually die to live somewhere warm all year around......BUT, there is only one thing that I require: I HAVE TO HAVE SNOW ON THE GROUND FOR CHRISTMAS!! lol, If I don't have even a sprinkle or dusting of snow on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day....it just doesn't feel like a real Christmas to me. But, I guess that is what they make Snow Making Machines for huh? hehehehe...I could get both ways! Guest guest Posted March 1, 2004 Report Share Posted March 1, 2004 Tonia I totally agree with . My husband and I not only sleep in seperate beds but seperate rooms. Now we are only a narrow hallway across from each other and we can and do lay in same bed for awhile during night but when my husband starts to sleep he snores so loudly could pinch his sweet little head. And I am always up and down with t.v. on very late or all night. Figure if we were ever going to rest had to get in separate rooms and bedrooms or just be very upset at each other. So would give it a try Tonia. Might help you alot. Just a try. Does not have be permanent.
