Guest guest
Dee & members, I'm a teacher, 58. I could've retired with full pension @ 55. I was feeling OK, so I've kept working. Now, I'm in this major setback with vulvodynia. Some days the pain is tolerable, others it is not. I can't decide to retire or not. To retire means I could really devote time to healing. But, what if I get better? My students this yr. are supposed to be dolls. I just don't know what to do. Of course this added stress isn't helping my pain levels. We have meetings tonight and all day (sitting) meetings tomorrow. Of course, I'm dreading them. Oh brother. Have any of you quit your jobs because of this condition? Did it help to devote more time to it? Do you wish that you had tried to stick it out until the pain got managable again? Thanks.....Sara in Syracuse
