has anyone taking the Deltacortril experienced stomach problems from it? I'm

having trouble with stomach cramps/bloating in the PM...and it seems to have

started with the Delta. I think that the prednisolone can cause stomach

upset...but geez....it's such a low dosage.

I had problems with the Isocort causing stomach upset too.

I haven't tried the Cortef....I was wondering if it might be easier on the

tummy.

Hi, Cindi:

I'm on hydrocortisone 2.5 mg 3x day, which is causing occasional

indigestion -- horrible pain in the upper stomach/esophagus area.

I've had ulcers before so am concerned. I'm going to try to call my

doctor today or tomorrow. Dr. Jeffries wrote in his book that

cortisol can cause stomach upset. He suggests taking cortisol with

an antacid, but don't antacids interfere with thyroid absorption?

I'm wondering if Tagamet once a day will keep that stomach acid

down. Did you experience stomach problems on Cortef too? Or have

you tried Cortef? Thanks. PS I always take mine with meals, that's

why I can only fit it in 3x a day so far. But it still bothers my

stomach.
