Guest guest
Stacey: Hi! I just about fell over when I read your post! About the Red blotches and the Severe Itching afterwards, I have scratched so hard I have cuts on my legs! It's driving me crazy!!! I put on Lotion 3 to 4 times a day nothing seems to help the itch, but the burn afterwards is horrible!! I know what you are going through, I can't take it either. Does anyone have any suggestions on this one? Thanks Janetstacey wrote: --- Barbara,> That is a good description! THREE WEEKS AGO IT STARTED WITH RED BLOTCHES BUT NOW IT FEELS LIKE THE SKIN ON MY ARM IS BURNING FROM THE INSIDE OUT.ITS VERY PAINFUL. IN A FEW DAYS HOPEFULLY I PREDICT IT WILL EASE UP AS IT USUALLY DOES AND I WILL SHED THE SKIN OFF MY ARM JUST LIKE A LIZARD LOL. MY DOCTOR SAID ITS ALL PART OF THE RSD. I PUT E CREAM ON IT. NOT SURE IT REALLY DOES ANYTHING TO HELP THOUGH, AND WHEN IT STARTS TO PEEL OFF IT ITCHES SO BAD.I USE ANTI-ITCH GEL.JUST CURIOUS WHAT DO YOU PUT ON YOUR SKIN WHEN YOU GET THAT? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED HAVE A NICE WEEKENDTAKE CARESTACEYNYC
Guest guest
I have this too, I take oatmeal baths and add a bit of baby oil, takes the burn and itch right out. You can buy the oatmeal bath any where pretty much it is with the anti itch creams usually on the bottom shelf. I hope this helps you. Janet Underwood wrote: Stacey: Hi! Stacey, One thing I found that works the best is Banana Boat's Sooth-A-Caine Aloe Vera Spray Gel with Lidocaine , as long as the skin is not broken. Here's the info for it: Banana Boat Sooth-A-Caine Aloe Vera Spray Gel with Lidocaine UsesTemporarily relieves pain due to sunburn. Spray on hands to apply to face.Active IngredientsLidocaine 0.7% , Menthol 0.2% Ingredients Benzophenone-4 , Carbomer , FD & C Blue No. 1 , Glycerin , Imidazodindyl Urea , Polysorbate-20 , Tocopherol Vitamin E For external use only. When using this product: do not get into eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. do not use in large amounts, particularly over raw skin or blisters Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days.
