I had open heart surgery the end of July of this year. The main thing my

surgeon was worried about was staying dry under my boobs and around my incision.

He told me to use washclothes folded up and stuck underneath each one or take a

cotton tshirt and fold it up and stuff underneath. I used washclothes for the

first 4 weeks until my incision was healed then I used 4x4. my incision healed

very nicely and my BGs were sky h igh I guess due to the trauma of the

surgery. Also got a raging infection from high bgs and the antibiotics I was

on. Nasty stuff

Makes me wonder if sticking the super-thin pantiliners to a bra

might not work.

Then you used your " 4 x 4 " ? You must have much larger boobs than I do Jan.

Sorry, I

couldn't resist my weird humor. I just got back from WalMart and every other

" gimp " in

Mt. Vernon was there too. I never have been able to get an electric chair there.

Anyway

I was able to get some generic Monostat 7 which has worked for me in the past.

But last

night I used the generic " GoldBond " I had on hand and it healed it up well even

with

that. I need to put some more stuff on my area and not let it get going again. I

got hot

on my trip. It was raining like heck and windy last night but this afternoon it

is sunny

and nice.

I assume you are all healed now from your surgery? I hope so and no more severe

problems. Raging infections are no fun.

No I didn't understand quite what the 4x4 was, LOL, so could not resist. People

were

waiting for the available electric scooters too. I just draped myself on a cart

like I

usually do.
