Guest guest
I have same problem with my foot and always take my right leg and kick outside of covers crossing over left leg and then bring right leg back on the top of covers and rest it on top of left leg and covers always trying to keep heel from touching anything. Anyone have idea how else to keep heel from touching anything? Have put foot on pillows and keep heel just over edge of pillow put then sometimes causes pressure on foot as it weighs downward having to be off any support. Just asking........Take care s Momma JoAnn Re: Oxygen deprivation and RSD I also had to fix the sheets in my bed so they don't press on my feet as that was causing me a great deal of pain. Lori, The same store that I found my walker at had a thing that goes under your mattress and you put it up as far as you want, mine is up as high as it goes. You drape the sheets and blankets over it to keep them off your feet. My husband and I were trying to figure out a way to just that, I spotted the box and said what is that she told us my husband says we'll by it without even knowing the price luckily it wasn't too much only 30 dollars, I wish I knew the name but the box is long gone, but it is so nice and works well. Guest guest
JoAnn They make a frame that goes under the blankets to keep the blankets up off your legs. It's sometimes referred to as a bed cradle. Any medical supply store should be able to get it. Guest guest
JoAnn, I wish I had some advice about the heel, I have the same problem and you are right, hanging it off a pillow causes other pains. So does crossing it over my left leg, I can't do that hardly at all. So I hope someone has a good idea too. = ) Lori
