Guest guest
Hi , It is a Supercenter Walmart, but I would think that if they don't carry it, you could request them. All the Walmarts get their stuff from one big place. If one can get it, they all should be able to. Maureen New food find Hi all,I just had to tell you about my new food find. I was at Walmart the other day and they had Tia Whole Wheat 98% ff tortillas and they work out to 1 point each. So I got a package to try them. My family wanted scrambled eggs and biscuits on Saturday morning, when they do this I fix it and then I eat Special K with berries (I am not a big egg eater, if I have egg or nothing I pick nothing). Well, this week I decided to try these tortillas with just a tiny amount of egg (maybe a tablespoon on it), some diced onion and red bell pepper, and a lot of salsa. It was wonderful!!! Very filling and very low points! I counted it as 3 points because I didn't figure I had enough eggs to count it as more. What do you think?Just thought I would share!Maureen
Guest guest
I swear by these tortillas, too. I make a cheese quesadilla with them. Use Pam on the pan, then butter spray one side of the tortilla and pan fry it. Butter spray that top side then flip it and add 1/4 cup each of FF shredded mozerella and FF shredded cheddar. Fold over and mush down, then flip and I’m done. Sometimes I add a little salsa or tomatoes, sometimes I eat with a little FF sour cream. Three points and it counts as two dairy. YUM! Guest guest
Thanks Zephyr, I've seen them in the store but haven't tried them yet. I love bbq so this will be a great snack. -- New food find Hey everyone, I found a great new snack at the store today. I did not have my points finder with me so I must be getting better at being able to read those labels because I knew from what I read it had to be prettty low and it was only 2 points for 25 crisps. They are from GeniSoy and they are called Soy Crisps. I got the barbecue flavor and they were fantastic way better than those mini rice crisp cakes and they give you the soy that we need. Anywqay I just wanted to pass this on. Zephyr

Guest guest
and All, I am pretty sure Trader Joes has them as well and they would be cheaper, the grocery store had them in the whole foods aisle. I will let everyone know if I find them at Trader Joes. Zephyr New food find Hey everyone, I found a great new snack at the store today. Guest guest
Zephyr, Thanks for letting us know about the soy crisps. I am always trying to get a new soy thing into my diet. I eat soy nuts on salads and in yogurt instead of regular nuts - they are much lower point too. I also bought some chocolate flavored soy that is like yogurt, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know. I tried chocolate soy milk (I think the brand name had silk in it) but I didn't like it. New food find Hey everyone, I found a great new snack at the store today.
