Guest guest
Dear & , I, too, have pain in the back of my head near my neck. From what I understand, it is caused from inflammation of the brain stem and/ or brain. I have found that chiropractic help seems to relieve the pain quite a bit. Last spring, when I was having severe seizures daily, I had to go to the chiro every day, and every day my neck was out. It was not my neck that was causing the problem; it was just that, when the brain stem is inflamed, it takes such a little bit of aggravation to stir it up. Also, the swelling in the brain stem keeps causing the neck to go out, so it is a vicious circle. All I know is that when I am having bad seizures, they will usually stop if I can get to the chiropractor right away. My pain also moves to one of my eyes if it continues. Then the pain gets horrible! Have any of you ever had the feeling that something is pulling on an eye from the back? (sounds weird, I know.) I have had that feeling sometimes when I have the seizures. I also get the feeling that my eyes are " jiggling " or that they are trying to cross. Anyone else? It has improved a great deal, though, since I have been on DHA (available at health food stores), that essential fatty acid for the brain. It is also important for brain/eye coordination. My natural doctor has me on almost 3 times what is suggested on the label. Thanks, , for your recent responses. I have not read Dr Page's book, but I have read several on natural healing and detox, and I will look for it. It sounds good. I am curious about how your seizures " behave " . I don't know if you have access to my original messages describing my spells. I would be interested in knowing if yours are similar. Thanks again.
