to reduce cortisol levels which is why you take it at night - makes

sense as high cortisol keeps you awake. I haven't looked back

since, in fact I think I would be scared to stop taking it!

Jamy is good with supplements and knowing what to use them

for...today Clay - my oldest son FINALLY agreed to try delta.

,

Now I can't remember what you are taking. LOL I get everyone mixed up. So I'll

just say

that Cortef did help my sleep. I assume the Delta would do the same. Currently

melatonin

is helping. I'd say ask your doctor about that. Either you are a light sleeper

or your cortisol

MIGHT be high at night. But evidently the lack of sleep is doing you in. We have

already

discussed the estrogen dominance issue too that could sometimes be a factor with

lack of

sleep with progesterone helping that. You just need to find a way to get some

sleep. I'd

say one of these methods rather than sleeping pills because sleeping pills are

masking

the problem in my opinion, these other options could FIX a problem. Just some

ideas.

Okay, I am going to say I lied when I said a sleep okay. I don't even

know what okay is, but last night was pretty bad. I go to bed and

cannot fall asleep until around 1pm. Then I toss and turn and get up

and pee two times (I take all my vitamins at night and the water makes

me get up at least once). I sleep very lightly and hear any little

noise or snore etc... My husband is a loud snorer, so I am constantly

hitting him. He wakes up at 6am, so I am wide awake and will generally

fall asleep when he is out of the shower, but only to be woken up 20

minutes later by my 3 year old at 7am. This is how I sleep every night

except that I may wake up only 3 times instead of 15. I guess this

cannot be normal. It is certainly better than the first three years

starting from 5 months pregnancy until April of last year. Is this

adrenal related or thyroid? I just want to sleep normal. What is

normal? I am afraid to ask lol! Also, I really think my fatigue is no

longer thyroid related, but from lack of proper sleep because when I

do get 6 or 7 straight hours, I feel so much more alive in the

mornings. Without proper sleep, the rest of the day is ruined and my

kids suffer (no going outside etc..).

Hi ,

my ps is from non-GM soy. It most definitely helps with my sleep and I have

also noticed a difference in being able to remember things - especially things

that I have to do. Before taking ps I would think to myself - ok, I have to do

this, this and that.

But by the time I had finished the first thing I would have forgotton what the

other two were <lol>

Hi, Lynda,

Is your phosphatidyl serine from soy or a bovine source? I recently read

that it makes a difference in the effects of PS. Can you tell me what's improved

with the PS besides sleep? Thanks!

Lynda,

Hmm... well, maybe this will help me more than I think! How long did it take to

notice a difference? Thanks.

Hi ,

it helped my sleep from the very first night, memory probs took a little longer.

I can't really say how long, it just suddenly dawned on me one day that I wasn't

having so much trouble remembering to do things. I would say perhaps a month.
