Guest guest
So sorry Jeannie, I totally understand the emotional battle going on for her and pray they can help her. I did see on Satalite tv a show about doctors and treatment of liver cancer at hospital Hopkins but not sure, lady had cancer tumors and they injected each tumor was injected with amonia (think that is correct will check for you again) and after about 2 injections, sometimes 3 times and it killed all of the cancer in liver!!!!! Wild I know but saw it myself and about kidney, know that can be taken care just by removing cancer, if not gone outside kidney, at least my thoughtl Hope you are able to handle this as know how hard it is when love someone so much. Will keep you and sister in my prayers. Hugs, s Momma JoAnn JB We'll say some prayers for her Jeannie. Guest guest
JB, I get the pulsating to, I thought maybe my heart rate was elevated but it wasn't and my blood presure was 116/62 so I don't think that was the reason either. It isn't constant it comes and goes and I can't find anything that brings it on. I do notice that my hands are a blotchy red and white when it happens. How far do you have to travel to get to your appointment the 25th? I always ask the office ahead of time if there is any paper work to be filled out as I, like you am not able to write, most places have mailed them to me with no problem so they can be filled out before we go. I also attach 'Medical Resume' lol, as the spaces are too small to fit the information so we put 'see attached' in the space and then they have to look at my records. Guest guest
JB, I'm glad to hear that you FINALLY found a doctor with a Brain!!!! I'll give you a warning here.... With the Methadone....(and some of these will also go for the Gabitril) DO NOT Get up fast! Get up slowly whether you're sitting or laying down. With the methadone alone.....You might feel a little Woozy for a few days up to a week or two. I got a little light-headed and dizzy myself...but, I was not only starting 3 NEW meds at the same time, but also was taken off of 5 old meds cold turkey. I know which was the signs of the Topamax withdrawls being it was Cold Turkey...and the rest of the symptoms. If it makes you nauseated, call and ask your doctor if he can prescribe something for you for the nausea. I was put on Phenergan 25mg every 6 to 8 hours as needed....(well, thanks to Medicaid, its the Generic, but it still works!) And, a Nausea Med will help with ANY kind of Nausea...flu, med upset, food upset...you name it. Just a little hint I found out the painful way... Where you was also dx'd with Fibro...if you feel a muscle get really tight, or knotted....ask the doctor for a muscle relaxer. Flexeril or Skelaxin will not interfere with the Methadone, Elavil or Gabitril. Tonia -------Original Message------- Group,Thank you all for your prayers I went to dr yesterday, This dr is awsome, I really liked him and felt more was done for me in that hr i was in his office then ive had in over a year. He believes I have RSD and neuropathy and or a trapped nerve or maybe a couple of other things. I also have fibro. He's sending me to a reconstruction (plastic surgeon)surgeon so they can go in and do exploratory to see if its damage or entrapment or whatever. If nothing is found I have just fibro and RSD. He put me on Gabitril, methadone along with continuing my elavil...I had 3 bad bad days of electric shocks and for the first time since april of last year i had a whole day with no shocks. Pain was a little less but it will take time. hes going to get me in to see a primary dr and a head dr lol lord knows i need one. I only had to pay 8 dollars for all my meds and 5 dollars to park. So im broke again gas fr the ride down there and eating and all that for yesterday set us way back cause hubby had appts yesterday too. So it was a longgggggg tiring day. But so so worth it. Well I'll end my book now. I hope everyone less pain and much love JB ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
