Guest guest
The magnesium in the epsom salt has a calming effect. [ ] I missed something - what's Epson salts for? I can't for the life of me think of why an Epson salts bath would be good for our kids. The baking soda makes sense but I must have missed the whole Epson salts thing...someone PLEASE clue me in on this fascinating information! Homeschooling? Guest guest
Hi -- did you email me this morning for the info? If so, I just sent it off. Epsom salt baths have been in use with autistic children, sensory children, and adhd children to help supply the body with magnesium, and sulfate. The document has a lengthy explanation about why sulfate is needed by the body. These baths are especially useful for kids who have food sensitivities-- kids who react to phenolic foods such as apples or foods with artificial food coloring/flavorings. Guest guest
Krista, I will send a copy through to post and the moderator can approve it if they want to-- it's very long and they may not want to put it through for that reason alone! It's about four pages typed. I will send you a copy by email. If anyone else wants a copy, email me maryandphilip@...
