Also, has anyone tried the diabetic socks for the circulation? Kelli, I don't see a specialist for veins, my RSD specialist is trying his best to get the swelling under control for me. He has us take digital pics of each extremity when they swell bad. I've tried the diabetic socks for swelling, my mother got a pair also as she has diabetic neuropathy and her feet go numb. She suggested I get the ones that were larger size than my normal size and I did. They are not tight on me but my feet still swell until we have to try to peel the socks off. When we go to the place again will get a pair that is a couple sizes larger than I would normally wear to try. Also, my feet (as well as most of my body) sweat so badly that most of the time my toes look all shriveled up as if I had been soaking them all day long. I have a horrible time wearing socks with the pain, I can't tolerate anything touching me. Even the EMLA Cream that I have used for years on my arm to numb it so I could get a sleeve on doesn't help. I wear birkenstock's so I can get my shoes off as quickly as possible. I used to wear s and they never bothered me but now they won't even go on my feet. My feet are always swelling, but the never shrivel due to the enormous size of them ( from the swelling). When you purchase the bigger diabetic socks, let me know how they work. I use to wear a size 9 in shoes. Went up to an 11, and now that won't even feet my foot. I go to town now in house shoes. I told my husband that I should just put my hair in curlers and wear a mu mu to town. Then I may feel normal. Hoping for a pain free day. I am a new member of this website. Hello, my name is Darlene and I have been living with RSD/CRPS for 6 months now. I was injured at work six months ago and broke both my arms. My left arm has healed fine but my right arm has developed RSD/CRPS and I have had 12 Stellate Ganglia Block injections in my neck. The Doctor is now telling me I am not getting enough relief from pain so he wants to do a Stellate Ganglion Block/ Ablation which will cauterize my nerve permanently. Has anyone had this done yet? I have been trying to find information about this procedure. I would appreciate any advice or experience. HELP! HELP!
