Hey fellow rosaceans,

Is anyone in cyberland aware that a zinc oxide cream in a dimethicone vehicle

can be routinely found in supermarkets, viz., Desitin Creamy. It contains 10%

zinc oxide as the active ingredient while cyclomethicone and dimethicone lead

the list of inactive ingredients. I've been utilizing Desitin creamy for the

past couple of days and the erythema along my nose has abated already; in

addition, the cream also seems to be effective against the resident blackheads

in my nasal pores, which appear to be clearing after only such a short time of

application! Nevertheless, Desitin Creamy is not flesh-colored like Margarite's

zinc oxide cream, which also contains a higher concentration of the active

ingredient as well as sulfur; hence, the cream is not the most elegant of

chemicals to apply frequently. However, it can be hidden after approximately

five minutes of persistent rubbing into the skin and is far more elegant than

traditional Desitin (40% zinc oxide minus dimethicone) to applyto a visually

prominent area like the face.

Peace,

Mark
