i had this sitting in my drafts from this morning, and now i just got the

next digest.

whewwwwwww. i haven't even properly read them yet. i will reply later. it

has been a beautiful day here and i have been working hard in the vineyard.

maybe you shouldn't tell me to take a leap, i might make some very good red

wine some day.

any way, below I have pasted message I was writing this morning.

cindy I live in Australia, ithought we had been introduced by now!!!!!!

re:liver cancer.......I REPEAT and I quote; " does your news report that bin

laden has advanced liver cancer? i am

> just curious if it is ommitted.

'i am just curious if it is omitted', being the operative

words..........this should tell you some things. why not report it? a man

who is dying of liver cancer sounds less convincing as the mastermind of

such destruction. no, I was not suggesting that you would/should be capable

of feeling sympathy to him, although I do wonder where the innocent until

proven guilty tenet has gone. but yes, he probably is guilty of some

previous terrorism.

BUTIN AUS:interviews and some of our reports on bin laden, PRIOR to this

have shown that he is increasingly sick and frail these past couple of

years. he uses a stick to get around and has been mostly interviewed in a

reclining position for the last 2 years.

some interviews on reports from our national broadcaster (ABC) have said

that his wealth, or his access to his wealth is vastly overrated, and is

presently being exaggerated by the media. they say he only ever received

10-20 million of his 250-300 million inheritance. they say his funds are

exhausted. he spent a great deal in afghanistan(against the soviets) then

sudan, trying to create some kind of islamic utopia, roads, buildings etc.

and possibly also traIning camps, or so the CIA began to think. after being

exiled from saudi arabia, and then sudan on American insistence after he was

suspected as involved in embassy attacks, they say he has become increasingly

isolated, impoverished, sick, and has been stripped of all

telecommunications. the FBI also say that he has no phone, fax. mobile.etc.

they agree he is holed up in a cave in the hills and has been for a

while......but the FBI say he deliberately has no communications so they

cannot track him.... a different spin on it.

his wealth comes/came from his family in saudi arabia, from where he was

exiled for his hatred of the king, who he sees as a puppet of the USA,

having sold his people out by allowing/accepting american assistance for

fight against saddam. as the head of islamic studies in some uni in USA

described it ' americans wanted to go into Saudi arabia for their own

interests , but it is a bit like thanksgiving, after it is all over, the

islamic people wanted their guests to go, not stay. " american occupation of

saudi arabia, is HUGE in this whole issue of hatred directed towards the

USA.

I think evidence comes from the fact that bin laden's organization already

> attack the world trade center a several years ago, plus his organization

> attacked a US navy vessel last year.

yes, I agree, they seem to think he did this.

Today I read that French government has

> retained someone who is a direct link to bin laden and is a close associate.

> Also, from what I've read, many of the suspects the FBI

re holding have illegal visas, green cards, ID's,

>>> other have documents which

>> allow them close interactions with airports, etc, and many have their links

>> with bin laden

this means nothing, they are simply picking up anybody who is arabic,

without proper papers, because they are so scared there is more attacks in

the pipeline, understandably. but you can make these loose claims about

anybody who has ever attended a meeting, demonstration etc. some may be real

links, many would just be slightly shady illegal immigrants, of which most

countries have their fair share.

Now they're also looking at Iraq as a possible player in all this, which, is

> probably very true and they are definitely tied to bin laden, which means you

> know that Saddam has got his fingerprints on the tragedy that recently

> occurred in New York.

NOW THIS IS SCARY. THERE IS NO WAY THERE WOULD BE ANY COLLABORATION

BETWEEN BIN LADEN AND SADDAM HUSSEIN. NEVER. BIN LADEN HATES HUSSEIN.

another little known fact is that bin laden 'prophesied' saddam hussein's

attack on kuwait. he sees saddam as a former puppet of USA gone wrong. on

this he is correct. binladen's prediction about saddam coming true elevated

his status with many arab fundamentalists.so bin laden's hatred is not only

directed towards USA,for their occupation of the country with the two holy

mosques (mecca) and their support of israel but any arab who sells his

brother out, and i would think, particularly, to the USA.

to suggest,as they are, that saddam and bin laden were in this together,

discredits their evidence.

> Are you saying you read that someone invested heavily in airline

>> stocks and made money?

they invested in shortfalls, in other words that the stock would drop.

someone posted that this was linked to binladen, ihave not heard this

anywhere , rather the contrary. i have heard it was some strange mix of

french, german, and japanese. as someone said if you follow the money trail,

you will find who is behind it all.

I would just like the right people to be brought to justice for the right

reasons.

our 'sunday'(authoritive, revered journalism) program has just been on and

i see they are asking the same questions of our foreign minister.....will

Australia be shown the evidence first, have you seen the evidence etc. and

then they asked some former Us congressman/speaker of the house 'has america

stopped and wondered why they have engendered this hatred, will the issues

that have caused this be addressed....US backing Israel, american occupation

of saudi arabia....etc.

now, don't shoot the messenger.

BUT, I DO ASK,if they have the evidence, why don't they hand it over to the

taliban, and get binladen, and thereby avoid WW3. I think it is a reasonable

request to say show me your evidence before we hand him over.

let's see, let's imagine another scenario...... the arabs think some american

extremist has bombed a medicine factory in sudan and they name a person,

does america hand him over, with no evidence. (this happened, but not an act

of terrorism, so therefore kosher, US 'evidence' said that this factory was

making chemical weapons, turned out to be not true, just a big mistake.)
