Sapphire was born @ 38 weeks 3lbs 2oz - She obviously had IUGR. I received

some info on IUGR which went on to include RSS - one could understand how it

followed IUGR but I couldn't or did't want to see those traits in Sapphire.

Reading about RSS helped me to understand the feeding problems I was having

with Sapphire but nothing else seemed to fit.

Time is moving on now - she is 9 months old - still without a conclusive

diagnosis I have great faith in Dr S @ GOS but can he contradict three other

peads who think she's RSS when he believes it is s Syndrome- probably

yes.

I understand from another member that Dr H believes too many children are

diagnosed with RSS when they are infact not.

Have any of you had tests for s? Like RSS it is a syndrome made up of

some of many of the traits listed but there is an overlap between the traits

for both syndromes.

What I believe may not be Gospel it is just my interpretation - I am open to

correction or any more help.
