Guest guest Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 Ladies, Went to my GP yesterday to try to get a handle on this latest flare. Two wks. ago I was basically symptom free for almost 5 days. Thought I was on the road to a remission...WRONG. So... they ruled out UTI...but LOW and BEHOLD...a yeast infection. Now, mind you I have not even been near an antibiotic since I was diagosed w/ V V back in the 90's. She said it was from the heat and walking in the heat. So, now I'm on three weeks of Diflucan. The first 2 pills made me want to throw up. I read that if you are on Diflucan, you should get a test or something ...liver damage??? Anyone heard of this? I'm still in severe pain. Anne..that rectal pain is a killer. I just sit and cry all day. Wasn't I the idiot that felt better and booked a trip to the west coast to see family?
