No, it didn't really mislead me because

I know that WW do not count actual

calories but use a patented formular

to calculate " points " so I automatically

assumed that it was not an " official "

recommendation.

Anyway, I wouldn't blame anybody when a

weight loss system does not " work " -

there are too many variables to be

able to guarantee weight loss and too

many temptations for everybody to be

" compliant " !

I am still losing weight at the same

rate as before but I am just starting

to hear from a little red devil who sits

on my shoulder and tries to get me to

skip a day with the food diary and not

to count coffee and chocolate biscuits

if I have them offered to me late in

the evening. Since I sprinkled some

holy water on my shirt yesterday, I

haven't heard from him but I don't have

much holy water left so I will have to

think of something else soon.

Regards

I can't see anything wrong with that

because I feel sure that the human body

does something just like it. The story

I read was that we started cultivating

crops and domesticating animals only

about ten thousand years ago whereas

our bodies have evolved over millions

of years and depended all that time on

the results of hunting prey or finding

edible plants.

Some days were good days and there was

plenty to eat and other days we were

out of luck and went hungry.

I am convinced that is the natural

way to eat and I once made a weight

loss plan that involved walking to a

supermarket about 5 miles away and

carrying all the food back in my hands.

Some days I was going to walk to the

supermarket after they had closed for

the day so that I would have made the

walk for nothing, other days I would

have more to eat than I needed.

Nothing came of it because I realized

that I was having trouble just lifting

the bags of groceries out of the trunk

of my car, no chance of carrying them

5 miles!

In reality, a calorie-reduced diet is

just an easy way to simulate a food

shortage. The problem is that we can

pretend all we want that food is in

short supply, our brains still know

what is in the refrigerator!

Hello !

You sound like you are doing great but just a little bit mischievous. It's

been a long time since we " met on the net " . My old computer " bit the dust

and I'm trying to get used to this new one. Everything is so different on

it. Everything else is pretty much the same except that I lost 11 lbs since

the first of July. I can't say that it's because I've been so good. I

actually think that I lost it while traveling so much. I started

vacationing and I've just been running around like a wild woman and haven't

felt like eating in this heat. Suddenly my blood sugar is going

down..down..down. I figure that part is good except that I'm very, very

tired. I'm sure being 70 years young has nothing to do with it. LOL

O.K., just wanted to say hello and let you know that I'm still alive and

kicking. Tell you sweet wife hello for me.

I can't take life too seriously until

I get a good reason to!

I read your postings from time to

time so I knew you were still having

your ups and downs.

I think they keep changing features

just to stop us from getting bored with

the things. Teenagers need one that has

flickering lights inside and even

water cooling - I am happy when mine

just stays quiet and does what I tell it,

although I sometimes have a suspicion

that I am doing what it is telling me

to do!

You mean you might have left the 11 lbs

behind some place? Never mind, it will

probably catch up with you eventually,

mine usually does.

I am just trying to picture you as a

" wild woman " ! Waaaaa-hooooo!

Might be all those late nights and all

that partying. Try getting to bed before

dawn and cutting back on the booze and

cigarettes and you should be OK again!

I can see that!

Sure, but I am the sweet one of us two!

All the best,
