Guest guest
I really think sauans are so helpful with heavy metals.. Just wanted to let whoever is interested that the Y offers a steep discount to people in a financial hardship. --Val
Guest guest
Val, Yesterday at the sauna this wise old dude explained to me that he saunas for 20 mins to 'get the pores open', then showers to wash away sweat, then showers in very cold water to close the pores. He feels that this approach prevents any toxins released in the sweat to enter the skin. I would follow his suggestion save for the fact that chlorine is an annoyance for me (need taurine presumably), and so wait to shower til I get home. Do you, or anyone, know what 'post-sauna protocol' is the best? > > I really think sauans are so helpful with heavy metals..
