I found this on a Google search. I transcribe it as a ratio (E:A changes),

but in my searching I also see E/A ratio. Hope this helps a little! :)

http://www.lifeshirt.com/pubdocs/proto.html You gotta scroll down to

diastolic function.

E to A changes

Can anyone help me with this E to A changes?

LUNGS: Clear to auscultation and percussion. Chest excursion symmetric.

No E to A changes.

Thanks oodles of noodles.

E to A changes is correct. To quote Vera Pyle, " on chest examination the

patient's 'e' sounds like

'a' through a stethoscope. The sound of 'e' indicates normal lung, 'a' indicates

consolidated lung. "
