Guest guest
Hello again, Thank you to everyone that gave input to my desperate posting of last night. Tonight is a little better pain wise, so I am able to give a few more details as to what is going on with me. I had this condition back in the year 2000, when it suddenly appeared and just kept getting worse and worse. I saw a GYN first and when he did the biopsies, and every STD test that he could think of...everything came back negative. So, he decides to send me to a DERM who goes through the whole thing over again... biopsies...STD tests...every kind of test he can think of and everything again comes back negative..(herpes too). Meanwhile I have to take a leave of abcence from my job (which eventually I had to quit) because I was so sore and raw on the vulva area that I could not stand anything touching it. I had nothing to do but sit and research on the internet trying to find out what was wrong with me. I eventually decided that I had all the symptoms of a systmetic yeast problem and finally got the DERM to perscrib the anti- fungal which finally started to heal. I stayed on the yeast-sugar free diet for a while and then some stress in my life helped to slack up on it untill finally I just forgot about the pain that I used to be in..(huge mistake).I had this pain for a year before I started to heal. Dee, thank you so much for the info on Vagisil..I do mix it with a cream that is a generic to Eucerin which takes a lot of the sting away and keeps the pain bearable. I know that Prednizone is the worst thing besides anti-biotics to take for yeast..but the DR seemed to think it would help...(it didn't).. So now I am fighting the constant craving for sweets, have Hashimotos Thyroiditis, artheritis, and IBS. I am a mess. I am still working..which I won't give up this job..(best one I ever had) and give in to this " thing " . I am going to work on the yeast/sugar free diet and try anything I can to heal myself..including prayer..(I have tremendous faith}. I appreciate any suggestions as to what others have done..and I am looking forward to the day I can wear clothes without a bulky pad to keep the cream on, and that I am not walking funny. BTW I am a 47 year old female, married for 28 years..and have been celibate for at least 6 months..(husband is very understanding) and have had a complete hysterectemy...(non-cancer). Thanks to everyone for listening to me ramble on. Deanne
