Guest guest
Hi group: I read the earlier postings about exercise. If you are looking for a form of exercise perfect for us, try swimming in a pool with water that is a comfortable temperature a few times a week. When you swim your body tends to not heat up. Most cities have a pools at community centers or schools that are open on evenings for a dollar. I can't swim very well so I just do the breast stroke with my head above water. After 20 minutes of that, I really tired and feel great. And, my body is not heated up so I get great cardiovascular with no flare or redness. In fact, I look pale when I'm done. Also, I used to be a long distance runner. I'd run 15 miles a day. After years of that I learned that running is hard on your body, especially for women. Walking, hiking, or swimming are much friendlier alternatives for your overall health. I got hairline fractures in my calves due to all the running and now when I run I get soreness in my legs very easily.
