Guest guest
Tonight I went to the walk in clinic at my primary dr.s office. I cannot go to the dr. during the day because I homeschool, have an infant and a special needs son. I have no family around and most people are afraid to watch my son so I have to do things at night when my husband is home. Makes sense to me. Anyway, I have had horrible headaches and nausea and upset stomach for nine days. Advil has not helped the pain at all so I thought it was time to see the doctor. After a two hour wait to get in, the dr. asked me why I was taking desipramine and I told him vulvadynia and that it was perscribed by a doctor in AZ. that i see. He stood about 18 in from my face with a smug little grin and asked what he was supposed to do. I was completely dumbstruck and just said "what"? He said "really, this is urgent care. I think what you need is a psychiatrist, and an antidepressant. That is probaby why you have vulvadynia too." I was so shocked I just burst into tears! What in ignorant, arrogant # & *!!! I couldn't stop sobbing(I had just spent two hours in a waiting room holding back my stomach with a raging headache)and he said, "see, your obviously depressed". I couldn't get off the table because he was so close to me and I kept saying I was leaving and finaly had to physically push past him to get down, grab my purse and get the heck out of there. He never said another word. So, my question is, who should i call to complain about this guy to? Then, what would be the best approach? Sorry this is so long! Thanks for listening!
