Well guys,

to add to the list of depressed CF moms, count me in, and on the walking

pharmacy stuff, count me and both in.

I had a day from HELL today, saw my gyn, whos great, she changed my BC pill

dose--which I am on for the endometriosis (thanks MO! I hope ya dont have it

too, Mandy!). ANYWAYS, the long suffering spousal unit, is

chaffeurring me around these days since I am on too many meds to even DRIVE.

Next we had an appt with my weird-o shrink, see I don't even KNOW this lady

and shes Iranian, her name is something weird like Ann Benemanie, and she

decided I am untrustworthy and neurotic and I dunno what all and she found

out our insurance doesnt cover inpatient psych care ---STUPID STUPID policy

but so it goes and anyways, she wanted me to go admit myself to some county

psych hospital and I got so upset I can't even tell ya'll, I was crying

hysterically, thank GOD didn't lose it and dump me at the County

nuthouse, seriously! Fortunately she did call my OWN doc and he did talk to

her and convince her I am not about to go off myself and we got to see him

today and he was SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE and he wrote Rxes for all the stuff we

need for vacation and he said just let take care of me for now and go

to Texas and have a good trip.

Thank GOD! sorry I know this list is supposed to be secular but I guess you

can yell at me , I just couldnt do all this without my faith.

love to all

from a very greatful CF MOMMY whos happy for all types of support, medical,

spiritual and friends!

MOM of 2 teens, one Princess with CF, and one Nick wonderboy without

CF and with a touch of asthma

Hey Kathy,

It's good that you hide a chia pestis and puking comment in a long post - I

guess you get to see who is paying attention! I love your sense of humour.

I've probably shown my bias over the past months, but I love it when

people who are in the middle of dealing with so much can dig deep and find

the humour and the energy to share it!

Take care of you and those sheep. I nominate you to co- train with Jen in

the Saint department. I hope that you can work through this and have a

healthy Christmas. BTW Springhill isn't too far for me to drive for beer

and wings! And, did you say, christmas cookies ...

Lots of love and warm fuzzy hugs,

Mo

I think you should follow Vicki's lead and tell your family they absolutely

are not allowed to add to your stress - I do hope your mom and grandma are

doing well.

As for the inhaler at school, can't you just strap it to her leg, oh, like

say a jack knife! Seems ridiculous to me that this would be an issue.

Sheesh, silly bureaucracy silly people.

And, I was wondering about your happiness - is it really the St. 's

Wort, or the cherries, mints, phish food, candy corn, etc? I would just

really hate to pay for a homeopathic cure, when all I might really have to

do is run to the Quickie store more often!

Love ya, keep keepin' on,

I loved your list of things that make you happy, too-- how about you come

make a gingerbread house for my kids?!? I just called to tell a friend that

the kids and I can NOT make it to her gingerbread house party tomorrow.

Sure, we all have sinus infections and colds, but the REAL reason is that I

just couldn't cope with the stress of designing and baking a gingerbread

house to bring along (not even the no-bake graham cracker variety), LOL.

I did do the cut-out cookies last weekend, green and red sugar sprinkles and

all, and I ended up snapping at Kailin three times for doing creatively

inappropriate things with dough and sugar sprinkles. None the less, the

cookies were YUMMY, and my monsters enjoyed eating them (as did I!).

ALL of the thin mints and cordial cherries I bought yesterday are gone. And

I did enjoy curling up and watching Friends, Frasier, and ER last night :-)

Thursday is the only night I really watch TV, and it's even better when I

have chocolate in the house.

bye,
