I am the same way!!! my temp last night at bed time was 97.3. I

couldn't get warm for the life of me. My dr get's nervous when my

FT3 gets over and TSH is too supressed. But when that does happen I

show graves antibodies but only with some minor hyper symptoms mixed

with a ton of hypo ones. I just don't get it some times. Although I

wonder if I get shakey sometimes just from the hypoglycemia which I

have had since I was a young teen and was diagnosed with CFS

also.....adrenal?!!!!

You know, it very well may be that you went in during the hyper flare

of Hashi's. Perhaps your doctor took labs during the hyper phase, and

thus the hyper results initially. I thought that most doctors were

supposed to wait 6 months or so and see if the hyper levels change

etc... befoe treating and making a diadnosis - NO? What were your

initial labs?

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean. Where do I found out about antibodi=

es

to the TSH receptor????

I'm sooooo confused.

Did you have the antibodies to the TSH receptor?  This is very important in=

establishing the diagnosis specifically of Graves' Disease.

Have you been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease? This disease typically begins

with back and

forth hyper and hypo symptoms. That's how I began back in 1975, but I don't

remember getting that

diagnosis then. But I did have a goiter and had both symptoms. The technicians

at the hospital

testing me were amazed that I had both symptoms. But the diagnosis was

hypothryoidism. It will

eventually settle into hypo.

in VA.
