Guest guest
Hi, Every child is different, however my son was 2 and the developmental pediatrician Dr. Marilyn Agin had told me 1 capsule per day. He is now 4 1/2 and for the past 8 months I increased it to 2 per day. I have found most pediatricians are doubtful. I would personally swear by the Nordic Naturals complete omega with borage oil. My son also had seizures at birth, problems with his eye sight, asthma and seemed to get sick alot. Also diagnosed with verbal apraxia, severe. It is truely amazing how well he is doing now with everything, speech, health. So to make it short, I'm a true believer!!!!!!! Guest guest
I forgot to mention, I would start with one per day for a few months and see how they are. Kim
Guest guest
Hi, My son has been on two capsule. The question I have has ant one seen any change in BM . At first we were grateful because he used to be constipated alot and this seem to do the trick. But sometimes I skip a day when I feel like it may not be agreeing with him. Do you think he is on too much. I really have not seen any word out burst but his receptive skills have greatly improved. So much that his last evaluation he scored at almost a 47 month old level when he is only 2yr. Thanks, Kim mama to Connor 2.5yrs sedona508@... wrote: Hi, Every child is different, however my son was 2 and the developmental pediatrician Dr. Marilyn Agin had told me 1 capsule per day. Guest guest
Hi Kim I assuming you mean 'looser' BMs??? I think this is quite common at first - you don't mention how long yr son has been on the caps. Over time though things do settle down. I'm trying to remember how long it took for my girl to get back to normal stool-wise...... a month maybe? Probably less .....as long as you've not got full-on dehydrating diarrhoea I personally wouldn't worry. These are oils we're introducing into their digestive system after all. I've had friends unhappy about this & have reduced the capsule intake & this had eased their concerns. Each child is individual in their response to the supplement - go with your heart on this one. Guest guest
Re: BM - our son's has not seemed to change too much with just one capsule per day. He has changed in vocalizing - much more and more often! He said, " ba ba ba " for the first time on day two. Councidence - probably, but I do feel it has had a positive effect on him over all. He's been on ProEFA ten days now. Tammy Mmmm - Ahhhh to 2.3yrs. Re: [ ] A question on ProEfFA Hi, My son has been on two capsule. The question I have has ant one seen any change in BM .
