Guest guest
Patient notes for the last five days he has been noticing a discomfort around the right side of the face. This a.m., he noticed that when he was drinking his mouth would not work well. He cannot " whistle " , and he is having a hard time closing his eye. Examination: Elevation of upper eyelids on the right side. He also has decreased strength in the upper eyelids on the right with positive s/l *bellsonatum* when he tries to resist lifting of the eyelids. I'm thinking this has to do with Bell's palsy, but he is clearly not saying that. Anyone know? Val
