Guest guest Posted January 1, 2002 Report Share Posted January 1, 2002 " The upper GI endoscopy, in addition to the small hiatal hernia, showed a possible short segment of Barrett's esophagus that was biopsied and erosive gastritis of the (s/l) **antrum** that was also biopsied. Duodenum was normal, however. The biopsy showed gastric (s/l) **cardia-type end esophagus squama mucosa** with moderate chronic inflammation consistent with chronic reflux. 1. atrum?? 2. cardia-type end esophagus squama mucosa??
