Guest guest
We have not had to take the shoes off of the bar to put them on. We just slip in one foot and tighten that one and then get the other foot in and it seems to work ok. Also, we had an interesting experience with this morning while he was wearing the shoes and bar. We usually put them on him when he goes to bed between 9-10pm and then leave them on until 10-12 noon the next morning. So in the mornings he has them on for a while crawling around and standing next to things and sometimes trying to push his little tykes car around the house. Anyway, this morning as we saw him walking in his DBB behind his little tykes push car, he went across the family room, into the kitchen and out to the entry to the house. One minor problem is that the entry area of our house has a one step up from the kitchen and then one step down into the living room. Well, pushed his car up to the step, then got down and crawled to the front to lift the front wheels up on the step. Then he went to the back and stood up and pushed the car's back wheels up to the step, then lifted them up over the step. Then he had the dilemna that his car was up on that landing and he was below the step standing in his DBB. Anyway, he put the lip of one of the shoes up over the edge of the step and stepped up and swung the DBB and other shoe up onto the step. Then he walked over about 5 feet to where the step goes down and pushed the car ahead of him off of that step and then stepped down the step in his DBB's. Allyson and I were just standing there looking at it all with our mouths open. Then we went and got our movie camera and said OK, now let's do that again for the camera. He wasn't quite as cooperative for the 2nd time. and (3-17-99)
