Guest guest
Dear Irene, I have never even thought to use Vitamin E in the vulvar area. However, I think it's worth a try. I did start using Emu Oil last night. Now I hope it isn't my imagination, but I don't feel as uncomfortable in that area today. I'm using my Clobetasol tonight. On the nights I don't use it, I will use the Emu Oil. Iris
Guest guest
I have used Vitamin E oil. It was very soothing but the next day my symptoms were worse. I am sure the Vit. E was what made it worse. I used it for a few days and then quit. Ora > > >I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried plain old vitamin E oil to >help with itching or burning. Guest guest
Yes, it helped me - but doc said to be sure to get 100% OIL so as not to get any chemical additives. Also useful was (and is) Crisco - in the can. Another oil that helps me is 100% cocoanut oil, which I also use as a lubricant. -----Original Message-----From: Irene Sent: Friday, December 31, 2004 3:08 PMTo: VulvarDisorders Subject: Anyone try vitamin E oil?I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried plain old vitamin E oil to help with itching or burning. But I've only tried it during flares and the only thing that has helped me during a flare is Atropine cream. Other women do feel it provides a protective barrier from irritants. I think some women have said it needs to be 10,000 uls something or another like that. Debbie Tiger
