Hi everybody,

Is it just me or is anyone else as confused as I am?I'm mixed up over the

stix.

They say they are better as it darkens. That shows that we are in ketosis.

Then they say that if we don't drink enough water that they will be darker.

So if we drink all the water that we are supposed to drink the stix is light

in color and that means we are not losing the keytones? I just don't know if

I should be happy with a trace to moderate or jump for joy when I make it

to the darkest purple. HELP

what am I hoping for?

Hi Mollie,

Thank you for responding. now lets look at the other end of what you just

said. So if I had just a trace or small, that means I'm getting plenty of

water but only passing small amounts of ketosis. But the more ketosis I pass

the better I'm losing. Now is that what I'm doing? And is this why I'm losing

so slowly. I'm trace to small to moderate. I'm drinking all the water I can

get in me (right now) Hope for more as I get into this.I'm losing slowly. 10

lbs since June 2nd.I thought if I ever got to the deep purples that that

would show a bigger loss.And drinking more water flushes the body of all the

fat that is know as ketosis thus turning it to purple.So do you see why I'm

so confused. E-gads! Does anybody understand what the heck I just said? LOL

Ok- I dont know if I know if this is correct but I think I was told that

any color change means your in ketosis and burning fat!!!! You dont

want it real dark because it means you're dehydrated.

Hello, :-)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today is the 3rd day of

induction for my husband and I. So far, we are doing pretty good. I

used the stix a little earlier this afternoon and found out that I am

already in ketosis. WOO HOO!!!! I'm on my way!

I haven't heard anyone mention it yet but I used the cheese

bread/crackers idea to make substitute hamburger buns last night. They

worked great! Just remember to use FREEZER PAPER. The cheese sticks to

wax paper but it peels off easily from freezer paper.

Everything scientific is confusing! Its always the opposite of what we

logically think :)
