Guest guest
Sheila, I can't remember, are you in the USA or UK? If you are in the USA, I would call DAMS, Leo Cashman, about this. He knows this stuff inside and out. 1- Otherwise, it might show up on an x-ray, but I think someone else posted that it could be hidden under a crown and not show up. I don't have any in my mouth, so I'm not an expert, and didn't pay real close attention to it when I read about it. Another website I remember with some info on root canals is http://www.drshankland.com. I'm not promoting him, I just remember his website name off-hand. What does really stick in my mind about what I read about root canals is, THEY ARE BAD FOR YOU! I don't want to repeat too much, but after what I read, if I had any in my mouth, I would be getting them pulled out! There are books written on the dangers of root canals, and miraculous recoveries after having them removed. Huggins tells of research done long ago by Dr. Price on root canals. He took root-canaled teeth from dead people, implanted the tooth under the skin of a rabbit, and the rabbit soon died of the same disease/cause as the human did! He repeated this many times. It was very fascinating. Dr. Price was a dentist who used to work for the ADA, I believe it might have been in the 1920's. For some reason, the ADA choses to ignore his research on this, and promotes the use of root canals. Personally, I will never have one. Jackie T. Re: Question for Andy Cutler - Jackie Hi Jackie Yes I had the last of my fillings out a year ago, can't say that I feel much different since, however I have been reading on this list that root canal work is bad and I believe I may have one from years ago. Didnt know that the amalgam could be down there so thats something that I have to address. Wonder how I can find out? Havent done much in the way of detox because I have been battling to get my thyroid meds under control, just sort of eating healthy etc. This is so confusing !!!! Best Wishes SheilaF > > Jackie here, not Andy. Question: You had your amalgams out a year ago? How have you felt since then? Better? Worse? The same? What have you done in the past year, any kind of detox/chelation? > > Just like to hear everybody's personal experiences, especially after amalgam removal. > > Thanks! > > Jackie t. > -- > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
