Hi ... I can sympathize because I too had a killer flare up this

morning. I was going to post the group about it but I have been posting

so many that I thought maybe everyone was going to think I was a whiner

or something so I held off. I don't know what my problem is but it has

been one after another. I also have a sinus condition which seems to go

along with the flares. I am not sure what the connection is but

possibly when my skin swells so does the sinus area thereby making one

feel congested. I also get kind of a fluttering heartbeat which a lot

of other people have reported as having too. I wonder if your flare

could possibly be related to your nerves... do you suffer from anxiety

at all? I often wonder if that is maybe part of my problem. I am a

workaholic and unless I keep myself in check I often find myself

putting in 60-80 hour work weeks. The last two weeks I have let myself

go and have been working like a dog. I worked right up to 9 o'clock

this morning and there I was...exhausted, adrenalized, nervous and in

the middle of one mighty bad flare with pretty much the exact same

symptoms that you described plus the heart thing. A friend finally

convinced me to get some sleep so I did... I just woke up and

thankfully everything has calmed down. If our nerves are part of the

problem maybe we would be wise to try something like yoga or something

like that. I was thinking about about it a while back but still have

not pursued it. At the very least it might mellow us out. I guess

ideally a person would live as healthy as possible... proper exercise,

water intake, good nutrition and rest... with that if we use rosacea

friendly skin products like Zia and jojoba... take the proper meds

and/or supplements... avoid our personal triggers and possibly

incorporate into our routine photoderm treatments... along with maybe

an hour of meditation or yoga everyday or something of that nature. I

guess if we gave a plan like that 6 months or something maybe we would

be doing alright. But anyways, I am starting to ramble so I had better

get out of here before I get all nervous or something. Best of luck

with your flare and condition. J.R.

I don't think I'm particularly stressed today, but on Saturday I went

four-wheel driving, which involves plenty of nervousness and adrenaline!

Yesterday one cheek was burning, it's still worse but both cheeks and

chin are off today, plus my eyes etc.

I certainly don't put in overly long hours, it's enough that I spend 2

hours a day commuting to my 8 hour-a-day job!

Anyway, I'm off to the pharmacy to see what they have to offer! (like I

couldn't do with the money elsewhere this week!!)

Thanks for your input
