About , may have Lupus now

called yesterday and her doctor said her ANA numbers are up.

Nurses do you know what all that implies??? She was told either she

has arthritis or Lupus so tomorrow she is to go see a Rhuematologist

to see what they think. She got on the computer and found out to

much about Lupus and since she has almost monthyly bladder

infections and had couple kidney infections last year she thinks

this means she has Lupus. Where ever she found the info on Lupus

stated that once it is in kidneys that you usually die from it so

needless to say she is not doing well. Do know from xray done last

year that she has arthritis in back but told it was mild. Think she

is young to have arthritis in back already anyway.

So does anyone know if it happens offen with rsd to end up with

either arthritis or Lupus? Wonder if this happens much. She had a

reflux problem as child and at 3 had to have surgery to redo her

ureter. So not sure if there could be a problem after all these

years with the surgery they did 30 years ago.

Hope all are doing well. Am wondering Felice and Tonia if you

have been able to get W/C to pay your medical bills and be able to

not have to look into bankrupcy. I just think the idea that they

would ever get people in such a horrible place is insanity by them

and the lawyers that allowed it to happen. Praying things get

better for each of you.

Hi JoAnn,

I will be praying that does not have Lupus. I'm sure you mentioned it, but

when is her appt. with the Rheumatologist?

I know it sounds easy, but tell her to wait to see the Dr. before she gets too

upset about this.

Appt with Rhuematologist is today, Wed. and hope also it is not Lupus. She

has been through alot in last 6 months. Lost job, best friend just died,

did IVF got pregnant and lost all the babies and doctor told her, in a poor

way, that her body kills her babies, had surgery on nerve by elbow, and IBS

acting up. So she is emotionally fairly well defeated and Momma and Daddy

need to keep talking to her and help her get through these things.

Sometimes we talk to her for 2 or 3 hours at one time just to get her calmed

down. Is worth it of course just so sorry all this going on in her life.

She is strong but just alot in short time period. Thanks for your support

Please let us know as soon as you find out anything. I'm sorry she's having to deal with so much. I don't want her to end up like I was in January.
