It sounds like you have a great pediatrician - you are so fortunate! Many of us had to twist our ped's arm or simply go over their head to get treatment for our babies!!! The early start will be great also - you should see great results. As for the insurance - I have heard some UHC members get covered for the band and some have not. I have UHC now, but didn't at the time of treatment. My insurance did not cover and we are still fighting it even though is through with her treatment. In the meanwhile we paid for it ourselves because we felt that strongly about it. I wish you good luck with that and hope that UHC will do the right thing for Grace.
