Guest guest Posted January 8, 2001 Report Share Posted January 8, 2001 Lamar, here in Calif. where I live and backyards are known as 'private sanctuaries' or 'outdoor rooms' almost, flowers are the main commodity. And that's what I love, because of texture, smell and color, plus fresh flowers in my house make me happy. I also paint from photos I take of my flowers. LOL don't worry, even with my 'slight CMT' (lol) I get the landscape crew to do the heavy work. Not to fear, I DO get dirty though! Because there are so many fruit orchards, and other produce grown and for sale real cheap, I don't grow any vegetables or fruit other than peaches - and those the possums get before I do.
