Kyra dropped 1 week prior to labor. Her's was a classic pregnancy and

delivery: Loss of mucus plug 12 hours before waters breaking, instant

labor, delivery 8 hours later.

With Ella: she dropped 1 month prior to delivery, mucus plug was out 1 week

before delivery, and waters broke during labor, 2 hours before delivery.

Interesting how every pregnancy is so different in the same individual!

I don't even know if I ever dropped, but I am only 5'2 " and when I was

pregnant I was full of baby. I didn't have to be induced but my water never

broke by itself. Nick was a 22 hr labor and Ang was from a Fri night

through until Sun AM at 8:00 AM and she was born. Finally. I had them both

naturally, no drugs, if I had it to do over I'd have an epidural. Sorry I'm

not of more help, and this was all a LONG time ago!! Keep us posted!

The same thing happened to me Maureen was induced 15 days after due date So

with Katy I never knew what labor would feel like in the early stages.

The doctor told me that when you cannot talk through a contraction then its

time and she was right. By the time I got to the hospital I was 3 cm within

20 mins I was 7 cm

I dropped pretty early in my ninth month. With Josh I was 10 days early and

with I was having contractions 12 days early and then they stopped

they started again 2 day later but I was progressing slowly so the doc

induced me again 10 days early.
