Guest guest
Since ingredients in these adrenal glandulars has come up, I want to ask anyone who knows, does the NutriMeds contain adrenaline? Seems like it would, since it is the whole gland, right? If it does, I don't need it. I need cortisol only, I'm thinking. I do know that adrenaline would tend to give us the flight or fight anxiety, if we have a tendency t'wd that, AND would also run the blood pressure up. I don't need that part either, since I'm already on the edge of that, and have been taking my blood pressure regularly for eons. It IS higher lately. I've never had low blood pressure. The last time I ran a 100/60 BP was in my late teens, early 20s. Does it contain adrenaline?
Guest guest
It very well could contain adrenaline. The site simply says " Each tablet supplies: Raw Adrenal Concentrate, 80 mg. " http://www.nutri-meds.com/products/adrenal.htm And though I know a few folks who use it, I would personally shy away from any bovine product!! Guest guest
Thanks Janie. The reason I asked is because I did order it a few months ago and was taking it for several wks, then stopped it, from some symptoms I was having. Then just a few wks ago, I started it again because I figured it was just that I needed to raise my Armour, but I soon discovered it wasn't that at all. My Free T4 is in the upper range or " normal " , my Free T3 is over the top of " normal, and my TSH is suppressed at 0.06. When someone mentioned adrenaline, that was the first time that I thought about that particular adrenal substance being in the raw adrenal, and also thought that that would go to reason. After all, it's the whole glandular, it's going to come with everything in it. This had never occurred to me, though, for some reason. I think that there may be some people who need adrenaline, but it's not me. If you don't need adrenaline, it can give you palps and that urge to " get up and go " and not really know where it is you should be going, lol! If you've ever experienced that feeling, then you know what I mean. It's a whole different ballgame than cortisol. Cortisol has gotten a bad reputation for this, and it simply isn't true. It is adrenaline that produces these kinds of effects. Re: NutriMeds Bovine Adrenal Glandular Question > It very well could contain adrenaline. Guest guest
, Cortisol can raise the blood pressure too.
