Guest guest
Hi Hillary, Sorry about the uncontrollable blubbering and blabbing. It seems to me that you have some pretty good reasons for blubbering and blabbing! ;o) I believe now that my immune system has been faltering for sometime, but I've been working past the pain. If all your life your immune system has been working overtime to counteract the poison of daily gluten in your body, it has taken some truly mortal hits and has reason to falter perhaps. This darned disease can do all kinds of horrible things to people and never be diagnosed. Alopecia, Sjogren's, dry eye, sleeplessness, and even lymphoma are all highly associated with Celiac/Gluten Sensitivity. Many have found that normal hair growth resumes, Sjogren's is relieved, and sleeplessness goes away after some time on a gluten free diet. I hope you are one of them. Many celiacs talk about throat problems, constriction, hoarseness, soreness. It sounds like your father may have had this gluten monster, too. With good luck your life will get better and not worse. Your low blood count must be a worry to you but don't get scared yet. I am sure you already know that it could be a lot of things. I will keep kind thoughts for you.
