Guest guest
I would use half the dose and chelate more frequently. Dagmar. Very seriously poisoned Very seriously poisoned I just re-read a part of Andy's book on the sources of mercury and I realized that I have been exposed to many sources of mercury. 1) I was vaccinated as a child 2) I used mercurochrome frequently on cuts 3) I played with mercury from a broken thermometer 4) At one time I had 10 mercury fillings and 9 composites 5) I changed all the fluorescents lights (700 of them) in a school, some of them exploded in my face 6) I ate fish and canned tuna regularly. Proving to others that I am sick from mercury is too complicated so I won't even try it. My doctor and many specialists told me that I don't have any major diseases so I will assume that mercury is my problem. I did a bad chelation protocol with my amalgams still in place. I was sick all the time when I finally read Andy's book and decided to have all my teeth extracted. Now I follow Andy's protocol (ALA + DMSA every 3 hours round the clock for 3 days, followed by a break of at least 4 days) It has been 2 years since I had my amalgams out and during this time I did only 19 chelation rounds. I can only tolerate a dosage of 50mg of ALA and 25mg of DMSA. Even at this low dosage I feel like crap when chelating even if tried Andy's every recommendations on supplements and diet. Now I stick with the basics: B complex, Vitamin C, E. I feel better now but I don't know how many chelation rounds I will need to be functional again. After over 20 years of being sick, I will have to start my life from scratch. I wish I could speed up the process but I don't think I can do more than 1 chelation round every month since I'm exhausted (low back pain, headache, low energy and sometimes even fever) after each round. Mercury must be coming out and then the portion that did not leave my body gets redistributed. Is this possible that mercury moves deeper into the brain and tissues with time? Then it is harder to get it out when you do chelation. ph
Guest guest
I agree, I would try reducing the dosage also. Many people can only use small dosages. Guest guest
Andy also recommends more frequent dosages too, like every 2 hours instead of 3, using a lower dosage. While this is " counterintuitive " if you read some of his recent posts on the autism-mercury board you can pull up one of his recent posts (within the last month) and he addresses this issue. Hope you feel better soon on round. Kim Re: Very seriously poisoned I agree, I would try reducing the dosage also. Many people can only use small dosages.
